Overview of Estate Planning

Estate planning is a term used to describe the process of formulating plans for the transfer of your property according to your wishes and goals.  Occasionally, a transfer may occur during lifetime but the primary transfer usually occurs upon death.   The planning process will often include contingencies for the management of your assets during any period of incapacity - be it short or long.  If you are unable to manage your property, your plan will enable a person you select handle the job until you are again able.  If you have minor children, the plan will also allow you to nominate your choice of guardian.

My goal as your attorney will be to help you acheive your objectives efficiently and with a minimum of taxes, expenses, delay and inconvenience.  I will guide you through the process so that you and your family may rest assured that your affairs are in order.
